Maria S. Kahn

Maria studied painting with the skilled Salvadorian masters Victor Rodriguez Preza and Carlos Cañas, and drawing with the Spanish sculptor Benjamin Saul. She has taken part in more than 100 exhibitions in art galleries and cultural events in El Salvador. She has worked with Galeria El Laberinto, Galeria 1-2-3, and Galeria Espacio of San Salvador.

At international level, her work has been exposed in Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, United States, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Israel, Taiwan, Ecuador, and Spain.

Maria paints since she was 13 years old and – in her own words – she has painted every day since then. She exhibits her work in galleries and other places since 1980. Recently, a book containing 20 years of her artistic work was published.
