For my paintings on paper, wood, and as place mats, I use liquid acrylics which I pour, squirt and brush until whimsical shapes appear. I love watching the designs evolve and usually can’t wait to see what will happen next.

The abstractions encourage you to use your imagination. What you see may be quite different from what I do. While my emotions inspire my painting, I do pay close attention to proper composition. Try looking at the paintings in several different directions. It can be like having four pieces of art in one.

Part of my process is to laminate my work which protects it from stain and mildew - a real plus in warm climates. The laminated paintings do not require glass.
